Google is rolling out a big change to their search engine algorithm. More specifically, they are expanding the use of mobile-friendly signals to rank websites in the mobile search results.

“ Starting April 21, we will be expanding our use of mobile-friendliness as a ranking signal. This change will affect mobile searches in all languages worldwide and will have a significant impact in our search results. Consequently, users will find it easier to get relevant, high quality search results that are optimized for their devices.”

So mark your calendars, April 21 will be a day to remember for digital marketing. To test to see if your site is mobile friendly take this simple test: https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/mobile-friendly/
